Worldwide Virtual Wine Events
There are so many virtual wine events happening these days, but how do you find them all in one place, online?
Here’s the bad news and the good news. There is no single place that you can find all of these events. However, there are some great resources, and I’ve listed five of the best ones I’ve used, below.
Virtual Wine Events
Virtualwineevents.com features an impressive array of virtual wine events held in locations all over the world. From tastings with winemakers to tasting classes led by Masters of Wine, to food and wine focused courses, if you’re looking for a virtual wine experience this website is going to be your best source for a global range of options.
Here are a few examples of previous events:
Ruinart Rosé : History in the making with Frédéric Panaïotis
Grüner Veltliner & Riesling — Similar but different with Franz and Mathias Hirtzberger
Organic & Biodynamic Wines Hosted by Rose Murray Brown, MW
California Wine Region Virtual Wine Events
Paso Robles Wine
While Paso Robles pasowine.com virtual event calendar isn’t nearly as robust as Sonoma and Napa County’s offerings, they’ve still got some cool stuff going on and this is (currently) the most cohesive online source for Paso Robles virtual wine event listings. However, you should also check the virtualwineevents.com site for events as I’ve noticed a couple of Paso winery events on there, that weren’t listed here.
Santa Barbara County Vintners
This site, run by the Santa Barbara County Vintners association, is the best source for Santa Barbara County virtual wine events. Join different wineries and vintners every week with Santa Barbara Vintner’s ‘Virtual Taste Through Santa Barbara’ series.

Santa Cruz Winegrowers Association
The community of Santa Cruz Wineries is small but mighty, and they’ve admirably sprung into action in order to be able to offer virtual wine experiences to Santa Cruz wine lovers. Check their site for upcoming events.
Sonoma County Tourism
Sonoma County Tourism’s event calendar lists many local Sonoma County wine and food related virtual events. It’s a great resource if you’re looking for virtual wine events led by Sonoma County wineries and organizations. You’ll also find some great virtual cooking classes, demos, and more…
Examples of previous events include:
Marimar’s Spanish Table: A Live Cooking Show
Virtual Event: Quarantine Kitchen Live with Chef Shane
Visit Napa Valley
The Visit Napa Valley website is doing a great job of keeping Napa Valley residents and Napa Valley wine consumers up-to-date on upcoming virtual tastings, events, and classes. They have almost 40 events listed, just in May!
Here are a few examples of previous events:
SiP Virtual Happy Hour with Kathryn Hall and guest
Virtual Cooking Class with Chef Jamie (Round Pond Estate)
Interactive Tasting Experiences with Frog’s Leap Vineyards
Willamette Valley Wine
The Willamette Valley Wineries Association’s website is always a fantastic resource for all things Willamette Valley wine related. Their coverage of local virtual wine events is no exception. If you’re looking for virtual wine tastings, classes, happy hours, and more held by Willamette Valley wineries and businesses this will be your number one resource.
Examples of Previous Events:
Virtual Happy Hour with David Adelsheim & Eugenia Keegan
Wine Road (Sonoma County)
Wineroad is a Sonoma County organization who’s member wineries are primarily located in the Russian River Valley, Dry Creek Valley, and Alexander Valley. They have done a pretty good job of keeping their website up to date, with a list of upcoming virtual tastings and events at member wineries.
